Overview
Nxamaseri Island Lodge, Okavango Panhandle
Nxamaseri Island Lodge is a small, exclusive lodge on a private island in the permanent waters of Botswana's Okavango Panhandle, one of the oldest camps in the Okavango Delta. Its distinct style reflects the beauty of the surrounding swamp and the rich character of the indigenous people who call the region home.
The lodge offers five twin/double thatched chalets, a honeymoon chalet, a triple chalet and a two-bedroom family chalet, each on raised teak decks with a private viewing deck. Days centre on motorised boat safaris, guided mokoro excursions, tiger fishing, birding and guided island walks, with an optional day tour or overnight sleep-out expedition to the Tsodilo Hills, a sacred San site and UNESCO World Heritage Site.
