Day by day

Your itinerary

Days 1–2

Masuwe Lodge

Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe

Day 1 · Arrival in Victoria Falls. Arrive at Victoria Falls Airport, where you are welcomed and transferred to Masuwe Lodge. Settle into the tranquil bush surroundings and enjoy a relaxed afternoon before dinner.

Day 2 · The wonder of Victoria Falls. Discover the Falls on a guided rainforest visit, with time at the viewpoints for photographs. Enjoy lunch in town, browse the local craft markets or choose an optional helicopter flight. In the late afternoon, take a sunset cruise on the Zambezi River.

Days 3–4

Chobe Savanna Lodge

Chobe River, Namibia

Day 3 · Crossing the Chobe by water into Namibia. After breakfast, travel by road towards Kasane, where your guide completes the necessary departure formalities. Then comes the highlight of the day: instead of a road border, you enter Namibia by water. Step aboard a river boat and glide across the Chobe River, clearing the water immigration entry into Namibia as you go, with elephants bathing at the river’s edge, hippos, crocodiles and fish eagles along the floodplains. Arrive at Chobe Savanna Lodge straight from the river and toast your three-country journey with a welcome drink.

Day 4 · A river safari. Spend the day discovering the Chobe River ecosystem, with the lodge’s scheduled safari activities and opportunities to observe elephants, hippos, crocodiles and abundant birdlife. Between excursions, relax and take in the peaceful river views.

Days 5–6

Camp Kuzuma

Chobe region, Botswana

Day 5 · From river to wilderness. Cross back by boat over the Chobe River, with the water immigration formalities handled en route, to the Kasane area, then continue by road towards Camp Kuzuma, with the required border and vehicle arrangements coordinated for you. Arrive at camp, settle in and enjoy an afternoon game drive if time permits.

Day 6 · Immersed in the African bush. A full day of safari activities, with morning and afternoon game drives subject to the camp’s programme. Spend the quieter hours relaxing at camp and soaking up the atmosphere of the Botswana wilderness.

Days 7–9

Nantwich

Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe

Day 7 · Into Zimbabwe’s wild country. Travel towards the Pandamatenga border crossing and continue to Nantwich in Hwange National Park, allowing sufficient time for border formalities and the road journey. Arrive, settle in and enjoy the wilderness setting overlooking the dam.

Day 8 · Discover Hwange. Spend a full day exploring Hwange’s remarkable wildlife habitats. Guided game viewing offers opportunities to encounter elephants, buffalo, antelope and, with luck, some of Africa’s iconic predators. Activities follow Nantwich’s confirmed programme and local conditions.

Day 9 · A second day in the wild. With an extra night there is no need to rush. Head out on a longer morning drive or explore a different part of northern Hwange, then return for a leisurely lunch and a quiet afternoon at the lodge. Spend time at the underground hide, where elephants and other wildlife come to the dam at eye level, and enjoy a final sundowner before dinner.

Days 10–11

Sia Safari Lodge

Zambezi National Park, Zimbabwe

Day 10 · Return to the Victoria Falls region. After breakfast, depart Hwange for the Victoria Falls area, with a relaxed lunch stop en route. Transfer to Sia Safari Lodge in the Zambezi National Park and settle into your luxury tented suite, followed by an evening sundowner beside the Zambezi River and a farm-to-table dinner.

Day 11 · Relax, explore and unwind. A gentle final day shaped around the lodge’s own experiences. Join a guided wildlife safari in the cooler early morning, then return for a slow brunch. After a free late morning and afternoon (pool, tent deck or simply watching the bush), choose a scenic guided hike if you feel energetic, or stay in camp. Close the journey with a farewell sundowner by the Zambezi and a candlelit farm-to-table dinner. Everything beyond the morning safari is optional.
