Camp Moremi, Moremi Game Reserve
Camp Moremi sits on raised timber platforms among leadwood, jackalberry and ebony trees at the tip of the Mopane Tongue, overlooking the Xakanaxa Lagoon in Botswana's Moremi Game Reserve, part of the Okavango Delta's renowned mosaic of woodland, floodplain and channel.
Twelve thatched tented rooms are raised above the forest floor, each with a private deck, en-suite bathroom and views over the surrounding bush. Days combine morning and afternoon game drives in open 4x4 vehicles with motorboat safaris across the lagoon and its channels, taking in prolific birdlife and strong sightings of lion, leopard, elephant and buffalo, with a boma, elevated dining deck and secluded pool at the heart of camp.
