Mogotlho Safari Lodge, Khwai River
Mogotlho Safari Lodge sits on a private concession along the Khwai River, between the Moremi Game Reserve and Chobe National Park, in one of Botswana's most game-rich corridors. Thirteen spacious tented rooms, including two family tents, are set along the riverbank with private decks looking out over water that draws a steady procession of elephant, buffalo and other wildlife past camp.
Days are built around morning, afternoon and night game drives across the concession, with mokoro excursions and guided bush walks offered when water levels and conditions allow. Wild dog sightings are a highlight of the area, and guests can add a helicopter flight over the Okavango Delta or a visit to the nearby Mababe community. A pool and open riverfront deck complete the camp for slower moments between activities.
